Q: What is the point of having an atheist meetup group?
A: (1) To allow like minded people to have a supportive environment in which to meet and share
philosophies, information, personal stories.
(2) To take time out from an increasingly religious community to just be yourself without having
to defend your ideas of religion.
(3) To join others in organizing activism.
(4) To help people with serious doubts overcome their fear of leaving their church.

Q: Are atheists communists, devil worshipers, baby killers, etc.?
A: No. Atheists simply have no belief in God or gods. Religious people reject the
validity of the gods of other religions. Atheists take it one step further.
We believe in one less god than they do.

Q: How can atheists be moral without God?
A: Morality existed before the god myths. Tribes of people determined which actions
would benefit themselves and their communities. These social mores became codified
into religions later.

Q: Why do atheists hate God?
A: We don't hate what does not exist. Atheists find no credible evidence for the
existence of God or gods. Many atheists have come to that conclusion from an honest
search for the truth and through study of the entire bible, not just the parts taught in
religious institutions.
